Dr. Sandra McGill is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.As one of the few female plastic surgeons in Montreal, her medical knowledge and surgical skills have established her as an expert in the field of cosmetic surgery specializing in breast, body and face.Recognized for her warm and caring approach, Dr. Sandra McGill accompanies her patients through every step of their surgical journey, providing an informed, intimate and safe environment. Dr. McGill is passionate about providing her patients with beautiful, harmonious and long-lasting results.
Over 15 years of experience
A native Montrealer, Dr. McGill completed her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.Hon) and Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degrees at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. After graduating from medical school, she returned to Montreal to complete a residency in Plastic Surgery at McGill University. In 2006, she became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and joined the Plastic Surgery division at Hôpital Cité de la Santé in Laval Quebec, where her practice focused on breast reconstruction. Her contributions were instrumental in improving patient education and access to immediate breast reconstruction. She introduced innovative surgical techniques and tools that significantly improved the care of cancer patients. Ever devoted to her private practice, Dr. McGill continues to hone her particular interest and experience in cosmetic breast surgery including breast augmentation, short scar breast lift/reduction as well as advanced body contouring techniques including tummy tucks, liposculpture and fat transfer. Her enduring and endearing strengths include a meticulous surgical technique, a balanced esthetic vision and extensive experience.

In 2015, Dr. McGill founded EspaceMD; a state-of-the-art private surgical facility located in Westmount offering clients access to the most innovative surgical and non-surgical solutions.

As a woman, and a female plastic surgeon, Dr. McGill is in a unique position to advise her patients on which procedure will be most worthwhile for them, and will be aligned with their own vision of themselves. With two young daughters, she understands the battle scars of motherhood that have lead many patients to seek her advice. “At which point is a scar a reasonable exchange for the change in your shape? It’s not always a simple answer, each person is different. Even the smallest detail, like the placement of an incision, can have an important impact on the way you can dress after surgery” explains Dr. McGill. She draws on her own personal experience and 17 years as a skilled surgeon to provide a different, more feminine, perspective. “I encourage all patients to do their research, ask tough questions and get different opinions …but my opinion should be one of them.”
