Modern surgical facilities
In 2015, Dr. McGill joined forces with Dr. Karl Schwarz to found EspaceMD; a state-of-the-art private surgical facility located in Westmount. The partners have over 30 years of combined experience between them and share a reputation for technical excellence and compassionate patient care. Their visionary surgical facility is the most modern and technologically advanced of its kind in Montreal, offering clients access to the most innovative surgical and non-surgical solutions.
Dr. McGill provides a personalized approach to every single one of her patients. “I understand the trust and confidence a person places in my hands when they choose me as their surgeon. I’m committed to providing my patients with the best possible information and care from the moment of their initial consultation, on the day of their surgery and throughout their recovery. It’s extremely important to me that my patients have direct access to me during the entire process.”
Personalized and respectful approach
Dr. McGill recognizes that plastic surgery is not just about treating the body, but understanding the individual as a whole. “I often ask my patients what it means for them to be taking this step in their lives,” explains Dr. McGill. “Each person that walks through my door has lived a unique experience that lead them to the moment when they decide it is time for a definitive change. It is a very honored and privileged position to be a part of this process of transcendence, where they can finally feel triumphant – and I get to be a part of their victory.”
As a woman, and a female plastic surgeon, Dr. McGill is in a unique position to advise her patients on which procedure will be most worthwhile for them, and will be aligned with their own vision of themselves. With two young daughters, she understands the battle scars of motherhood that have lead many patients to seek her advice. “At which point is a scar a reasonable exchange for the change in your shape? It’s not always a simple answer, each person is different. Even the smallest detail, like the placement of an incision, can have an important impact on the way you can dress after surgery” explains Dr. McGill. She draws on her own personal experience and 17 years as a skilled surgeon to provide a different, more feminine, perspective. “I encourage all patients to do their research, ask tough questions and get different opinions …but my opinion should be one of them.”
Let Dr. McGill’s experience guide you on a path to renewed confidence, beauty and radiance.
